St Brendan's Catholic Primary SchoolPCE have spent the last two years working on the civil design of the new Catholic primary school at Mackay Northern Beaches – St Brendan’s Catholic Primary School. This is an exciting project to be working on, which has presented some challenges along the way. The new traffic lights on Mackay Bucasia Road were commissioned this week, and the project is one step closer to completion ready for opening in 2015. |

Local BuyPCE has been accepted on 'Local Buy', a government preferred-supplier arrangement website for providing engineering and design services, and we look forward to working with local and government authorities as part of this arrangement. |

Mackay Base Hospital RedevelopmentStructural inspections are now complete at the Mackay Base Hospital Redevelopment. PCE was involved in inspecting the construction from the very beginning of the early works package in 2009, so after 5 years of attending the site for regular inspections we will hopefully not be needing to use the new facility any time soon! |

Student Accommodation ProjectConstruction has commenced on the new student accommodation buildings on Boundary Road, opposite CQUniversity, which PCE has been involved with for the design and now construction phases. What a great facility for the region's local and visiting students and academics. |

Junior Soccer GroundsThe first sod has been turned at the Mackay Junior Soccer Grounds Relocation project, part of the Community Development Grants Programme. PCE is undertaking a Project Management Role, and is excited to see this project come to life! |
